Canadian rock band A Foot in Coldwater released their self-titled debut album in 1972. Highlighted by frontman Alex Machin's soulful vocals, a lush string arrangement, and harmonizing guitar leads, single "(Make Me Do) Anything You Want" reached the Top 25 on the Canadian record charts. The band's sound has been compared to that of Orleans, America, Boston, and fellow Canadian rock acts Trooper and April Wine.
